                     COLLECTOR CAR APPRECIATION DAY

  Mr. WHITEHOUSE. Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that the 
Senate proceed to the consideration of S. Res. 690, submitted earlier 
today.
  The PRESIDING OFFICER. The clerk will report the resolution by title.
  The legislative clerk read as follows:

       A resolution (S. Res. 690) designating July 8, 2022, as 
     ``Collector Car Appreciation Day'' and recognizing that the 
     collection and restoration of historic and classic cars is an 
     important part of preserving the technological achievements 
     and cultural heritage of the United States.

  The PRESIDING OFFICER. There being no objection, the Senate proceeded 
to consider the resolution.
  Mr. WHITEHOUSE. I ask unanimous consent that the resolution be agreed 
to; that the preamble be agreed to; and that the motions to reconsider 
be considered made and laid upon the table with no intervening action 
or debate.
  The PRESIDING OFFICER. Without objection, it is so ordered.
