  SA 5047. Mr. SCHUMER (for Mr. Lee) proposed an amendment to the 
resolution S. Res. 134, expressing the sense of the Senate that the 
President should work with the Government of the United Kingdom to 
conclude negotiations for a comprehensive trade agreement between the 
United States and the United Kingdom that the President should work 
with the President of the European Commission to conclude negotiations 
for a comprehensive trade agreement between the United States and the 
European Union; as follows:

       Amend the title so as to read: ``A resolution expressing 
     the sense of the Senate that the President should work with 
     the Government of the United Kingdom to conclude negotiations 
     for a comprehensive trade agreement between the United States 
     and the United Kingdom that the President should work with 
     the President of the European Commission to conclude 
     negotiations for a comprehensive trade agreement between the 
     United States and the European Union.''.
