UNITED STATES FOREIGN SERVICE DAY
Mr. DURBIN. Madam President, I ask unanimous consent that the Senate
proceed to the consideration of S. Res. 627, submitted earlier today.
The PRESIDING OFFICER. The clerk will report the resolution by title.
The senior assistant legislative clerk read as follows:
A resolution (S. Res. 627) designating May 6, 2022, as
``United States Foreign Service Day'' in recognition of the
men and women who have served, or are presently serving, in
the Foreign Service of the United States, and honoring the
members of the Foreign Service who have given their lives in
the line of duty.
There being no objection, the Senate proceeded to consider the
resolution.
Mr. DURBIN. I know of no further debate on the resolution.
The PRESIDING OFFICER. Is there further debate? If not, the question
is on agreeing to the resolution.
The resolution (S. Res. 627) was agreed to.
Mr. DURBIN. I ask unanimous consent that the preamble be agreed and
the motions to reconsider be considered made and laid upon the table
with no intervening action or debate.
