PREVENTION MONTH DURING THE PERIOD BEGINNING ON JANUARY 1, 2022, AND
ENDING ON FEBRUARY 1, 2022, TO RAISE AWARENESS OF, AND OPPOSITION TO,
HUMAN TRAFFICKING AND MODERN SLAVERY
Mr. WYDEN. Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that the Committee
on the Judiciary be discharged from further consideration and the
Senate now proceed to S. Res. 500.
The PRESIDING OFFICER. The clerk will report the resolution by title.
The senior assistant legislative clerk read as follows:
A resolution (S. Res. 500) supporting the observation of
National Trafficking and Modern Slavery Prevention Month
during the period beginning on January 1, 2022, and ending on
February 1, 2022, to raise awareness of, and opposition to,
human trafficking and modern slavery.
There being no objection, the committee was discharged, and the
Senate proceeded to consider the resolution.

be agreed to, the preamble be agreed to, and the motions to reconsider
be considered made and laid upon the table.
