  SA 4900. Mr. LEE submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by 
him to the bill S. 3436, to require the imposition of sanctions with 
respect to entities responsible for the planning, construction, or 
operation of the Nord Stream 2 pipeline and their corporate officers 
and to apply congressional review under the Countering America's 
Adversaries Through Sanctions Act to the removal of sanctions relating 
to Nord Stream 2, and for other purposes; which was ordered to lie on 
the table; as follows:

       At the appropriate place, insert the following:

     SEC. __. EXPORTATION OF NATURAL GAS TO NATO ALLIES.

       Section 3(a) of the Natural Gas Act (15 U.S.C. 717b(a)) is 
     amended in the first sentence by inserting ``(other than a 
     country

     that is a member of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization)'' 
     after ``to a foreign country''.
