  Mr. HAWLEY. Mr. President, had there been a recorded vote, I would 
have voted no on the nomination of Executive Calendar No. 332, Lee 
Satterfield, of South Carolina, to be an Assistant Secretary of State 
(Educational and Cultural Affairs).
  Mr. President, had there been a recorded vote, I would have voted no 
on the motion to proceed to Calendar No. 144, H.R. 4350, the National 
Defense Authorization Act.
