REINFORCING NICARAGUA'S ADHERENCE TO CONDITIONS FOR ELECTORAL REFORM
ACT OF 2021
Mr. SCHUMER. Madam President, I ask unanimous consent that the
Committee on Foreign Relations be discharged from further consideration
of S. 1064 and the Senate proceed to its immediate consideration.

A bill (S. 1064) to advance the strategic alignment of
United States diplomatic tools toward the realization of
free, fair, and transparent elections in Nicaragua and to
reaffirm the commitment of the United States to protect the
fundamental freedoms and human rights of the people of
Nicaragua, and for other purposes.
There being no objection, the committee was discharged, and the
Senate proceeded to consider the bill.

substitute amendment at the desk be considered and agreed to.
