confirmation of Karen McGlashen Williams, of New Jersey, to be United 
States District Judge for the District of New Jersey.
  I was necessarily absent, but had I been present would have voted yes 
on rollcall vote No. 434, on the confirmation of Patricia Tolliver 
Giles, of Virginia, to be a United States District Judge for the 
Eastern District of Virginia.
