  The PRESIDING OFFICER. Under the previous order, the Senate will 
resume consideration of the Parker nomination, which the clerk will 
report.
  The legislative clerk read the nomination of Douglas L. Parker, of 
West Virginia, to be an Assistant Secretary of Labor.
  The PRESIDING OFFICER. The question is, Will the Senate advise and 
consent to the Parker nomination?
  Mr. WHITEHOUSE. I ask for the yeas and nays.
