                           EXECUTIVE CALENDAR

Mr. VAN HOLLEN. Madam President, I ask unanimous consent that the
Senate proceed to executive session to consider the following
nomination: Calendar No. 115.
The PRESIDING OFFICER. Without objection, it is so ordered.
The clerk will report the nomination.
The senior assistant legislative clerk read the nomination of Ali
Nouri, of the District of Columbia, to be an Assistant Secretary of
Energy (Congressional and Intergovernmental Affairs).
Thereupon, the Senate proceeded to consider the nomination.
Mr. VAN HOLLEN. Madam President, I ask unanimous consent that the
Senate vote on the nomination without intervening action or debate, and
if confirmed, the motion to reconsider be considered made and laid upon
the table, all without intervening action or debate; that no further
motions be in order to the nomination; that any statements related to
the nomination be printed in the Record; that the President be
immediately notified of the Senate's action; and that the Senate then
resume legislative session.
The PRESIDING OFFICER. Without objection, it is so ordered.
The question is, Will the Senate advise and consent to the Nouri
nomination?
  The nomination was confirmed.
