ORDERS FOR TUESDAY, APRIL 27, 2021
Mr. BLUMENTHAL. Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that when the
Senate completes its business today, it adjourn until 10 a.m., Tuesday,
April 27, and that following the prayer and pledge, the morning hour be
deemed expired, the Journal of proceedings be approved to date, the
time for the two leaders be reserved for their use later in the day,
and morning business be closed; that upon conclusion of morning
business, the Senate proceed to executive session to resume
consideration of the Miller nomination, postcloture; that at 11:30
a.m., all postcloture time be considered expired; that following the
cloture vote on the McCabe nomination, the Senate recess until 2:15
p.m. to allow for the weekly caucus meetings; that if cloture is
invoked on the McCabe nomination, all postcloture debate time be
considered expired at 2:30 p.m.; finally, that if any of the
nominations are confirmed, the motions to reconsider be considered made
and laid upon the table and the President be immediately notified of
the Senate's actions.
