          AUTHORIZING EXPENDITURES BY COMMITTEES OF THE SENATE

  Ms. SMITH. Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that the Senate 
proceed to the consideration of Calendar No. 6, S. Res. 70.
  The PRESIDING OFFICER. The clerk will report the resolution by title.
  The senior assistant legislative clerk read as follows:

       A resolution (S. Res. 70) authorizing expenditures by 
     committees of the Senate for the periods March 1, 2021 
     through September 30, 2021, October 1, 2021 through September 
     30, 2022, and October 1, 2022 through February 28, 2023.

  There being no objection, the Senate proceeded to consider the 
resolution.
  Ms. SMITH. I ask unanimous consent that the resolution be agreed to 
and the motion to reconsider be considered made and laid upon the table 
with no intervening action or debate.
  The PRESIDING OFFICER. Without objection, it is so ordered.
  The resolution (S. Res. 70) was agreed to.
