GREG LEMOND CONGRESSIONAL GOLD MEDAL ACT
Mr. CORNYN. Madam President, I ask unanimous consent that the
Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs be discharged from
further consideration of H.R. 3589 and that the Senate proceed to its
immediate consideration.

The senior assistant legislative clerk read as follows:
A bill (H.R. 3589) to award a Congressional Gold Medal to
Greg LeMond, in recognition of his service to the Nation as
an athlete, activist, role model, and community leader.
There being no objection, the committee was discharged, and the
Senate proceeded to consider the bill.

a third time and passed and that the motion to reconsider be considered
made and laid upon the table.
