MAKING TECHNICAL CORRECTIONS TO THE GUAM WORLD WAR II LOYALTY
RECOGNITION ACT
Mr. CRAMER. Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that the Committee
on the Judiciary be discharged from further consideration of H.R. 1365
and the Senate proceed to its immediate consideration.
The PRESIDING OFFICER. The clerk will report the bill by title.
The senior assistant legislative clerk read as follows:
A bill (H.R. 1365) to make technical corrections to the
Guam World War II Loyalty Recognition Act.
There being no objection, the committee was discharged and the Senate
proceeded to consider the bill.
Mr. CRAMER. I ask unanimous consent that the Graham amendment at the
desk be agreed to, and the bill, as amended, be considered read a third
time.

The amendment (No. 1323), in the nature of a substitute, was agreed
to as follows:
(Purpose: In the nature of a substitute)
Strike all after the enacting clause and insert the
following:
SECTION 1. TECHNICAL CORRECTIONS TO GUAM WORLD WAR II LOYALTY
RECOGNITION ACT.
Title XVII of division A of Public Law 114-328 is amended--
(1) in section 1703(e)--
(A) by striking ``equal to'' and inserting ``not to
exceed''; and
(B) by striking ``covered into the Treasury as
miscellaneous receipts'' and inserting ``used to reimburse
the applicable appropriations'';
(2) in section 1704(a) by striking ``, subject to the
availability of appropriations,'' and inserting ``from the
Claims Fund''; and
(3) by striking section 1707(a).
The amendment was ordered to be engrossed and the bill to be read a
third time.
The bill was read the third time.
Mr. CRAMER. I know of no further debate on the bill, as amended.
The PRESIDING OFFICER. Is there further debate?
Hearing none, the bill having been read the third time, the question
is, Shall the bill pass?
The bill (H.R. 1365), as amended, was passed.
