  SA 1280. Mr. CRUZ submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by 
him to the joint resolution S.J. Res. 63, to direct the removal of 
United States Armed Forces from hostilities against the Islamic 
Republic of Iran that have not been authorized by Congress; which was 
referred to the Committee on Foreign Relations; as follows:

       In section 1, insert after paragraph (4) the following:
       (5) Members of the United States Armed Forces and 
     intelligence community, and all those involved in the 
     planning of the January 2, 2020, strike, including President 
     Trump, should be commended for their efforts in a successful 
     mission.
