RECOGNIZING THE IMPORTANCE AND SIGNIFICANCE OF THE 2020 CENSUS AND
ENCOURAGING INDIVIDUALS, FAMILIES, AND HOUSEHOLDS ACROSS THE UNITED
STATES TO PARTICIPATE IN THE 2020 CENSUS TO ENSURE A COMPLETE AND
ACCURATE COUNT
Mr. LANKFORD. Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that the Senate
proceed to the immediate consideration of S. Con. Res. 31, introduced
earlier today.
The PRESIDING OFFICER. The clerk will report the concurrent
resolution by title.
The senior assistant legislative clerk read as follows:
A concurrent resolution (S. Con. Res. 31) recognizing the
importance and significance of the 2020 Census and
encouraging individuals, families, and households across the
United States to participate in the 2020 Census to ensure a
complete and accurate count.
There being no objection, the Senate proceeded to consider the
concurrent resolution.
Mr. LANKFORD. I ask unanimous consent that the concurrent resolution
be agreed to, the preamble be agreed to, and the motions to reconsider
be considered made and laid upon the table.
