EXECUTIVE REPORTS OF COMMITTEE
The following executive reports of nominations were submitted:
By Mr. WICKER for the Committee on Commerce, Science, and
Transportation.
*Michael Graham, of Kansas, to be a Member of the National
Transportation Safety Board for a term expiring December 31,
2020.
*Ian Paul Steff, of Indiana, to be Assistant Secretary of
Commerce and Director General of the United States and
Foreign Commercial Service.
*Theodore Rokita, of Indiana, to be a Director of the
Amtrak Board of Directors for the remainder of the term
expiring January 3, 2021.
*Carl Whitney Bentzel, of Maryland, to be a Federal
Maritime Commissioner for the term expiring June 30, 2024.
*Michael Graham, of Kansas, to be a Member of the National
Transportation Safety Board for a term expiring December 31,
2025.
Mr. WICKER. Mr. President, for the Committee on Commerce, Science,
and Transportation I report favorably the following nomination list
which was printed in the Record on the date indicated, and ask
unanimous consent, to save the expense of reprinting on the Executive
Calendar that this nomination lie at the Secretary's desk for the
information of Senators.
The PRESIDING OFFICER. Without objection, it is so ordered.
*Coast Guard nominations beginning with Joseph D. Brown and
ending with Mariett C. Ogg, which nominations were received
by the Senate and appeared in the Congressional Record on
October 15, 2019.
*Nomination was reported with recommendation that it be confirmed
subject to the nominee's commitment to respond to requests to appear
and testify before any duly constituted committee of the Senate.
