  SA 151. Mr. LEE submitted an amendment intended to be proposed to 
amendment SA 111 submitted by Ms. Murkowski (for herself and Mr. 
Manchin) and intended to be proposed to the bill S. 47, to provide for 
the management of the natural resources of the United States, and for 
other purposes; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows:

       At the appropriate place, insert the following:

     SEC. __. ACREAGE LIMITATIONS FOR CONVEYANCES OF PUBLIC LAND 
                   FOR RECREATIONAL AND PUBLIC PURPOSES.

       Section 1 of the Act of June 14, 1926 (commonly known as 
     the ``Recreation and Public Purposes Act'') (44 Stat. 741, 
     chapter 578; 43 U.S.C. 869), is amended--
       (1) in subsection (a)--
       (A) in the second sentence, by striking ``640'' and 
     inserting ``6,400''; and
       (B) in the third sentence, by striking ``six hundred 
     forty'' and inserting ``6,400''; and
       (2) in subsection (b)--
       (A) in clause (i)--
       (i) in subparagraph (A)--

       (I) by striking ``six thousand four hundred'' and inserting 
     ``64,000''; and
       (II) by striking ``ten'' and inserting ``100'';

       (ii) in subparagraph (B), by striking ``six hundred and 
     forty'' and inserting ``6,400''; and
       (iii) in subparagraph (C), in the first sentence, by 
     striking ``twenty-five thousand six hundred'' and inserting 
     ``256,000''; and
       (B) in clause (ii), by striking ``six hundred and forty'' 
     each place it appears and inserting ``6,400''.
