SA 37. Mr. SHELBY submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by
him to the bill H.R. 268, making supplemental appropriations for the
fiscal year ending September 30, 2019, and for other purposes; which
was ordered to lie on the table; as follows:
Strike all after the enacting clause and insert the
following:
Sec. 101. The Continuing Appropriations Act, 2019
(division C of Public Law 115-245) is further amended--
(1) by striking the date specified in section 105(3) and
inserting ``February 8, 2019''; and
(2) by adding after section 136 the following:
``Sec. 137. Notwithstanding any other provision of this
Act, and in addition to amounts otherwise made available by
this Act for `U.S. Custom and Border Protection--Procurement,
Construction, and Improvements', there is appropriated
$5,700,000,000 for an additional amount for fiscal year 2019,
to remain available until September 30, 2023.''.
This Act may be cited as the ``Further Additional
Continuing Appropriations Act, 2019''.
