     DIRECTING THE SPEAKER TO ADMINISTER THE OATH OF OFFICE TO THE 
 REPRESENTATIVE-ELECT FROM THE 13TH CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT OF MICHIGAN

  Mr. LEVIN. Mr. Speaker, I offer a privileged resolution (H. Res. 
1161) and ask for its immediate consideration in the House.
  The Clerk read the resolution, as follows:

                              H. Res. 1161

       Resolved, That the Speaker is hereby authorized and 
     directed to administer the oath of office to Ms. Brenda 
     Jones, a representative-elect from the 13th Congressional 
     District of Michigan.

  The resolution was agreed to.
  A motion to reconsider was laid on the table.
