UNANIMOUS CONSENT AGREEMENT--S.J. RES. 54
Mr. PORTMAN. Mr. President, as if in legislative session, I ask
unanimous consent that notwithstanding rule XXII, the Senate proceed to
legislative session, and Senator Sanders, or his designee, be
recognized to make a motion to discharge S.J. Res. 54; further, that
there be time for debate of the motion until 4 p.m. and of that time,
10 minutes be under control of the chairman and 10 minutes for the
ranking member, and the remaining time be equally divided between the
two leaders or their designees; that at 4 p.m., the Senate vote in
relation to the motion to discharge; that following disposition of the
motion, the Senate resume executive session and the time spent in
legislative session count postcloture on the Farr nomination.
