NATIONAL EARTHQUAKE HAZARDS REDUCTION PROGRAM REAUTHORIZATION ACT OF
2017
Mr. PERDUE. Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that the Senate
proceed to the immediate consideration of Calendar No. 568, S. 1768.
The PRESIDING OFFICER. The clerk will report the bill by title.
The senior assistant legislative clerk read as follows:
A bill (S. 1768) to reauthorize and amend the National
Earthquake Hazards Reduction Program, and for other purposes.
There being no objection, the Senate proceeded to consider the bill,
which had been reported from the Committee on Commerce, Science, and
Transportation.
Mr. PERDUE. Mr. President, I further ask that the committee-reported
substitute be withdrawn, the Feinstein substitute amendment at desk be
considered and agreed to, the bill, as amended, be read a third time
and passed, and the motions to reconsider be considered made and laid
upon the table with no intervening action or debate.
The PRESIDING OFFICER. Without objection, it is so ordered.
The committee-reported substitute amendment was withdrawn.
The amendment (No. 4025) was agreed to.
