  SA 3701. Mrs. FEINSTEIN submitted an amendment intended to be 
proposed by her to the bill H.R. 6157, making appropriations for the 
Department of Defense for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2019, 
and for other purposes; which was ordered to lie on the table; as 
follows:

       At the appropriate place in title VIII of division A, 
     insert the following:
       Sec. ___.  Section 2 of Public Law 85-236 (71 Stat. 517) is 
     amended in the first sentence by inserting after ``for other 
     military purposes'' the following: ``, or for homeless 
     assistance purposes''.
