for Fiscal Year 2018, the Air Force is undertaking an updated

the Air Force intends to use for its strategic basing
process.

Secretary of Air Force shall submit to the Committees on
Armed Services of the Senate and the House of Representatives
a report setting forth the results of a review, conducted by
the Secretary for purposes of the report, of the analytical
model used for strategic basing.
(2) Particular element.--The report shall include such
recommendations of the Secretary for the analytical model as
the Secretary considers appropriate in order to ensure that
the model addresses changes in refueling requirements along

connection with the growth of activities in the Northern
Polar region by global and regional powers.
