RAPID DNA ACT OF 2017
Mr. PORTMAN. Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that the
Committee on the Judiciary be discharged from further consideration of
H.R. 510 and the Senate proceed to its immediate consideration.

A bill (H.R. 510) to establish a system for integration of
Rapid DNA instruments for use by law enforcement to reduce
violent crime and reduce the current DNA analysis backlog.
There being no objection, the Senate proceeded to consider the bill.
