        ENCOURAGING REUNIONS OF DIVIDED KOREAN AMERICAN FAMILIES

  Mr. PORTMAN. Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that the Senate 
proceed to the immediate consideration of Calendar No. 711, H. Con. 
Res. 40.
  The PRESIDING OFFICER. The clerk will report the concurrent 
resolution by title.
  The senior assistant legislative clerk read as follows:

       A concurrent resolution (H. Con. Res. 40) encouraging 
     reunions of divided Korean American families.

  There being no objection, the Senate proceeded to consider the 
concurrent resolution.
  Mr. PORTMAN. Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that the 
concurrent resolution be agreed to, the preamble be agreed to, and the 
motions to reconsider be considered made and laid upon the table with 
no intervening action or debate.
  The PRESIDING OFFICER. Without objection, it is so ordered.
  The concurrent resolution (H. Con. Res. 40) was agreed to.
