          MEASURES READ THE FIRST TIME--S. 3464 AND H.R. 6094

Mrs. FISCHER. Madam President, I understand there are two bills at
the desk and I ask for their first reading en bloc.
The PRESIDING OFFICER. The clerk will read the bills by title for the
first time en bloc.
The senior assistant legislative clerk read as follows:

A bill (S. 3464) to provide incremental increases to the
salary threshold for exemptions for executive,
administrative, professional, outside sales, and computer
employees under the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938, and for
     other purposes.
       A bill (H.R. 6094) to provide for a 6-month delay in the
effective date of a rule of the Department of Labor relating
to income thresholds for determining overtime pay for
executive, administrative, professional, outside sales, and
     computer employees.

Mrs. FISCHER. Madam President, I now ask for a second reading, and I
object to my own request, all en bloc.
The PRESIDING OFFICER. Objection is heard.
The bills will receive their second reading on the next legislative
day.
