Announcement by the Speaker Pro Tempore
The SPEAKER pro tempore (during the vote). There are 2 minutes
remaining.
{time} 1703
Mr. CARSON of Indiana changed his vote from ``present'' to ``yea.''
So (two-thirds being in the affirmative) the rules were suspended and
the resolution was agreed to.
The result of the vote was announced as above recorded.
A motion to reconsider was laid on the table.
PERSONAL EXPLANATION
Mr. HINOJOSA. Mr. Speaker, I was unavoidably detained. Had I been
present, I would have voted ``nay'' on rollcall 502, ``yea'' on
rollcall 503, and ``yea'' on rollcall 504.
