                  MOURNING THE LOSS OF LIFE IN DALLAS

  (Mr. KILDEE asked and was given permission to address the House for 1 
minute.)
  Mr. KILDEE. Mr. Speaker, my heart breaks, as do the hearts of my 
colleagues, over the terrible tragedy that took place last night and 
for the victims of the horrific violence that we have seen in the last 
few days and weeks.
  We are better than this. We can do better than this. In this body, we 
must do better than this.
