URGING THE EUROPEAN UNION TO DESIGNATE HIZBALLAH IN ITS ENTIRETY AS A
TERRORIST ORGANIZATION
Mr. TILLIS. Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that the Senate
proceed to the immediate consideration of Calendar No. 537, S. Res.
482.
The PRESIDING OFFICER. The clerk will report the resolution by title.
The legislative clerk read as follows:
A resolution (S. Res. 482) urging the European Union to
designate Hizballah in its entirety as a terrorist
organization and to increase pressure on the organization and
its members to the fullest extent possible.
There being no objection, the Senate proceeded to consider the
resolution.
Mr. TILLIS. Mr. President, I further ask unanimous consent that the
resolution be agreed to, the preamble be agreed to, and the motions to
reconsider be considered made and laid upon the table with no
intervening action or debate.
The PRESIDING OFFICER. Without objection, it is so ordered.
