PREVENTING IRS ABUSE AND PROTECTING FREE SPEECH ACT
The SPEAKER pro tempore. The unfinished business is the vote on the
motion to recommit on the bill (H.R. 5053) to amend the Internal
Revenue Code of 1986 to prohibit the Secretary of the Treasury from
requiring that the identity of contributors to 501(c) organizations be
included in annual returns, offered by the gentleman from Maryland (Mr.
Sarbanes), on which the yeas and nays were ordered.
