CURTIS FOLTZ' RETIREMENT AS EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF GEORGIA PORTS
                               AUTHORITY

(Mr. CARTER of Georgia asked and was given permission to address the
House for 1 minute.)
Mr. CARTER of Georgia. Mr. Speaker, I rise today to recognize Curtis
Foltz and his retirement as executive director from the Georgia Ports
Authority.
Over the past 5 years, Mr. Foltz has done an exceptional job
overseeing all Georgia Ports Authority activity, including the
expansion and maintenance of the deepwater ports of Savannah and
Brunswick.
Since his promotion to executive director in 2010, Mr. Foltz led
Georgia Ports Authority to achieve record cargo growth, modernize its
terminals, increase efficiency, improve safety, and promote
environmental stewardship.
I am honored and grateful for Mr. Foltz' leadership as Georgia Ports
Authority's executive director and wish him all the best in his future
endeavors.
I would also like to wish the incoming executive director, Griff
Lynch, and the Georgia Ports Authority continued growth and success for
years to come.
