 ANNOUNCEMENT BY COMMITTEE ON RULES REGARDING AMENDMENTS TO H.R. 3442, 
         DEBT MANAGEMENT AND FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY ACT OF 2015

  (Mr. SESSIONS asked and was given permission to address the House for 
1 minute.)
  Mr. SESSIONS. Mr. Speaker, today the Rules Committee issued an 
announcement outlining the amendment process for H.R. 3442, the Debt 
Management and Fiscal Responsibility Act of 2015. An amendment deadline 
has been set for Thursday, January 21, 2016, at 12:00 p.m. That is also 
known as noon.
  Amendments should be drafted to the text of the bill as reported by 
the Committee on Ways and Means, which is posted on the Rules Committee 
Web site. Please feel free to contact me or a member of the Rules 
Committee if we may be of assistance to any Member in their 
preparations.
