  SA 2936. Mr. McCONNELL (for Mr. Corker (for himself and Mr. Shelby)) 
proposed an amendment to the bill H.R. 515, to protect children and 
others from sexual abuse and exploitation, including sex trafficking 
and sex tourism, by providing advance notice of intended travel by 
registered sex offenders outside the United States to the government of 
the country of destination, requesting foreign governments to notify 
the United States when a known sex offender is seeking to enter the 
United States, and for other purposes; as follows:

       On page 42, strike lines 13 through 17 and insert the 
     following:

     SEC. 11. AUTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS.

       There are authorized to be appropriated to carry out this 
     Act $6,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2017 and 2018.
