REMEMBERING HOWARD COBLE
Mr. TILLIS. Mr. President, I will close by saying that I hope we all
remember another great North Carolinian who was buried just today,
Congressman Howard Coble. He served 5 years in the North Carolina House
and 30 years in the U.S. House of Representatives. He was a great
American, and he will be missed.
I thank the Presiding Officer, and I suggest the absence of a quorum.
The PRESIDING OFFICER. The clerk will call the roll.
The senior assistant legislative clerk proceeded to call the roll.
Mr. CARPER. Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that the order for
the quorum call be rescinded.
The PRESIDING OFFICER (Mr. Tillis). Without objection, it is so
ordered.
