  PROVIDING FOR THE REAPPOINTMENT OF DAVID M. RUBENSTEIN AS A CITIZEN 
     REGENT OF THE BOARD OF REGENTS OF THE SMITHSONIAN INSTITUTION

  Mr. PORTMAN. Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that the Senate 
proceed to the immediate consideration of H.J. Res. 10, which was 
received from the House.
  The PRESIDING OFFICER. The clerk will report the joint resolution by 
title.
  The legislative clerk read as follows:

       A joint resolution (H.J. Res. 10) providing for the 
     reappointment of David M. Rubenstein as a citizen regent of 
     the Board of Regents of the Smithsonian Institution.

  There being no objection, the Senate proceeded to consider the joint 
resolution.
  Mr. PORTMAN. Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that the joint 
resolution be read a third time and passed, the motion to reconsider be 
considered made and laid upon the table, and that any statements 
relating to the joint resolution be printed in the Record.
  The PRESIDING OFFICER. Without objection, it is so ordered.
