PROVIDING FOR A JOINT SESSION OF CONGRESS TO RECEIVE A MESSAGE FROM THE 
                               PRESIDENT

  Mrs. COMSTOCK. Mr. Speaker, I send to the desk a privileged 
concurrent resolution and ask for its immediate consideration in the 
House.
  The Clerk read the concurrent resolution, as follows:

                             H. Con. Res. 7

       Resolved by the House of Representatives (the Senate 
     concurring), That the two Houses of Congress assemble in the 
     Hall of the House of Representatives on Tuesday, January 20, 
     2015, at 9 p.m., for the purpose of receiving such 
     communication as the President of the United States shall be 
     pleased to make to them.

  The SPEAKER pro tempore. Is there objection to the request of the 
gentlewoman from California?
  There was no objection.
  The concurrent resolution was agreed to.
  A motion to reconsider was laid on the table.
