The PRESIDING OFFICER. Under the previous order, the Senate will
proceed to the consideration of the following nominations, which the
clerk will report.
The assistant bill clerk read the nominations of Barbara A. Leaf, of
Virginia, a Career Member of the Senior Foreign Service, Class of
Minister-Counselor, to be Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary
of the United States of America to the United Arab Emirates; Theodore
G. Osius III, of Maryland, a Career Member of the Senior Foreign
Service, Class of Minister-Counselor, to be Ambassador Extraordinary
and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to the Socialist
Republic of Vietnam; Erica J. Barks Ruggles, of Minnesota, a Career
Member of the Senior Foreign Service, Class of Minister-Counselor, to
be Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of
America to the Republic of Rwanda; and Karen Clark Stanton, of
Michigan, a Career Member of the Senior Foreign Service, Class of
Minister-Counselor, to be Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary
of the United States of America to the Democratic Republic of Timor-
Leste.

United States of America to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam?

Vote On Ruggles Nomination
The PRESIDING OFFICER. The question is, Will the Senate advise and
consent to the nomination of Erica J. Barks Ruggles, of Minnesota, a
Career Member of the Senior Foreign Service, Class of Minister-
Counselor, to be Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the
United States of America to the Republic of Rwanda?
The nomination was confirmed.
Vote On Stanton Nomination
The PRESIDING OFFICER. The question is, Will the Senate advise and
consent to the nomination of Karen Clark Stanton, of Michigan, a Career
Member of the Senior Foreign Service, Class of Minister-Counselor, to
be Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of
America to the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste?
The nomination was confirmed.
