    DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS EXPIRING AUTHORITIES ACT OF 2014

  Mr. PRYOR. I ask unanimous consent that the Senate proceed to the 
consideration of H.R. 5404, which is at the desk.
  The PRESIDING OFFICER. The clerk will read the bill by title.
  The legislative clerk read as follows:

       A bill (H.R. 5404) to amend title 38, United States Code, 
     to extend certain expiring provisions of law administered by 
     the Secretary of Veterans Affairs, and for other purposes.

  There being no objection, the Senate proceeded to consider the bill.
  Mr. PRYOR. Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that the bill be 
read a third time and passed and the motion to reconsider be considered 
made and laid upon the table with no intervening action or debate.
