NOMINATION OF JULIE E. CARNES TO BE UNITED STATES CIRCUIT JUDGE FOR THE
ELEVENTH CIRCUIT
The PRESIDING OFFICER. Under the previous order, the Senate will
proceed to executive session to consider the following nomination,
which the clerk will report.
The assistant legislative clerk read the nomination of Julie E.
Carnes, of Georgia, to be United States Circuit Judge for the Eleventh
Circuit.
The PRESIDING OFFICER. Under the prevous order, there will now be 2
minutes of debate equally divided between the two leaders or their
designees prior to a vote on the nomination.

The question is, Will the Senate advise and consent to the nomination
of Julie E. Carnes, of Georgia, to be United States Circuit Judge for
the Eleventh Circuit?
