      HONORING FORMER PRESIDENT GEORGE H.W. BUSH AND BARBARA BUSH

  Mr. REID. Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that the Senate 
proceed to the consideration of S. Res. 471.
  The PRESIDING OFFICER. The clerk will report the resolution by title.
  The assistant legislative clerk read as follows:

       A resolution (S. Res. 471) honoring former President George 
     H.W. Bush on the occasion of his 90th birthday and Barbara 
     Bush on the occasion of her 89th birthday and extending the 
     best wishes of the Senate to former President Bush and Mrs. 
     Bush.

  There being no objection, the Senate proceeded to consider the 
resolution.
  Mr. REID. Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that the resolution 
be agreed to, the preamble be agreed to, and the motions to reconsider 
be laid upon the table, with no intervening action or debate.
  The PRESIDING OFFICER. Without objection, it is so ordered.
