                     NATIONAL CANCER RESEARCH MONTH

  Mr. REID. Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that the Judiciary 
Committee be discharged from further consideration of S. Res. 445 and 
the Senate proceed to its consideration.

  The assistant legislative clerk read as follows:

       A resolution (S. Res. 445) recognizing the importance of 
     cancer research and the contributions of scientists, 
     clinicians, and patient advocates across the United States 
     who are dedicated to finding a cure for cancer, and 
     designating May 2014 as ``National Cancer Research Month.''

  There being no objection, the Senate proceeded to consider the 
resolution.
  Mr. REID. Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that the resolution 
be agreed to, the preamble be agreed to, and the motions to reconsider 
be laid upon the table, with no intervening action or debate.
