ORDERS FOR MONDAY, APRIL 28, 2014
Mr. REID. Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that when the Senate
completes its business today, it adjourn until 2 p.m. on Monday, April
28; that following the prayer and pledge, the morning hour be deemed
expired, the Journal of proceedings be approved to date, the time for
the two leaders be reserved for their use later in the day; that
following any leader remarks, the Senate proceed to a period of morning
business until 5:30 p.m., with the time equally divided between the two
leaders or their designees, with Senators permitted to speak for up to
10 minutes each; that upon the conclusion of morning business, the
Senate proceed to executive session to consider the Friedland
nomination as provided under the previous order.
The ACTING PRESIDENT pro tempore. Without objection, it is so
