         100TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE COOPERATIVE EXTENSION SYSTEM

  Mr. REID. Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that the agriculture 
committee be discharged from further consideration of S. Con. Res. 33.
  The PRESIDING OFFICER. Without objection, it is so ordered.
  The clerk will report the concurrent resolution by title.
  The assistant legislative clerk read as follows:

       A concurrent resolution (S. Con. Res. 33) celebrating the 
     100th anniversary of the enactment of the Smith-Lever Act, 
     which established the nationwide Cooperative Extension 
     System.

  There being no objection, the Senate proceeded to consider the 
concurrent resolution.
  Mr. REID. Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that the concurrent 
resolution be agreed to, the preamble be agreed to, and the motion to 
reconsider be laid upon the table.
