NOTICE OF HEARING
COMMITTEE ON ENERGY AND NATURAL RESOURCES
Ms. LANDRIEU. Mr. President, I would like to announce for the
information of the Senate and the public that a business meeting has
been scheduled before the Committee on Energy and Natural Resources.
The business meeting will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2014, at 9:45
a.m., in room, SD-366 of the Dirksen Senate Building.
The purpose of the business meeting is to resume consideration of the
following nominations: Rhea S. Suh, to be the Assistant Secretary for
Fish and Wildlife and Parks; and Janice M. Schneider, to be an
Assistant Secretary of the Interior, Land and Minerals Management.
The Committee previously met to consider the two nominations on
February 13, 2014, but the meeting was adjourned in the absence of a
quorum.
In addition, the Committee will be asked to approve new subcommittee
assignments, appointing Senator Wyden to subcommittee assignments
previously held by Senator Landrieu.
Because of the limited time available for the business meeting,
witnesses may testify by invitation only. However, those wishing to
submit written testimony for the hearing record should send it to the
Committee on Energy and Natural Resources, United States Senate, 304
Dirksen Senate Office Building, Washington, DC 20510-6150, or by email
to Sam_F[email protected].
For further information, please contact Sam Fowler at (202) 224-7571
or Sallie Den at (202) 224-6836.
