              PHILIPPINES CHARITABLE GIVING ASSISTANCE ACT

  Mr. DURBIN. Mr. President, I understand we have an announcement from 
the Chair.
  The PRESIDING OFFICER. The Senator is correct.
  Under the previous order, the Senate having received H.R. 3771, the 
text of which is identical to S. 1821, the Senate will proceed to 
consideration of the measure, which the clerk will report.
  The assistant bill clerk read as follows:

       A bill (H.R. 3771) to accelerate the income tax benefits 
     for charitable cash contributions for the relief of victims 
     of the Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines.

  The PRESIDING OFFICER. Under the previous order, H.R. 3771 is read a 
third time and passed, S. 1821 is indefinitely postponed, and the 
motions to reconsider are considered made and laid upon the table.
