NOMINATION OF LINDA VIVIENNE PARKER TO BE UNITED STATES DISTRICT JUDGE 
                  FOR THE EASTERN DISTRICT OF MICHIGAN

  The PRESIDING OFFICER. Under the previous order, the clerk will 
report the Parker nomination.
  The bill clerk read the nomination of Linda Vivienne Parker, of 
Michigan, to be United States District Judge for the Eastern District 
of Michigan.
  The PRESIDING OFFICER. There will now be 2 minutes of debate equally 
divided prior to the vote.
