 NOMINATION OF MATTHEW FREDERICK LEITMAN TO BE UNITED STATES DISTRICT 
               JUDGE FOR THE EASTERN DISTRICT OF MICHIGAN

  The PRESIDING OFFICER. Under the previous order, the clerk will 
report the nomination.
  The assistant legislative clerk read the nomination of Matthew 
Frederick Leitman, of Michigan, to be United States District Judge for 
the Eastern District of Michigan.
  The PRESIDING OFFICER. There will now be 2 minutes of debate equally 
divided prior to the vote on the nomination.
