                 MEASURE READ THE FIRST TIME--H.R. 3370

  Mr. REID. Mr. President, I understand that H.R. 3370 is at the desk 
and I ask for its first reading.
  The PRESIDING OFFICER. The clerk will read the bill by title for the 
first time.
  The assistant legislative clerk read as follows:

       A bill (H.R. 3370) to delay the implementation of certain 
     provisions of the Biggert-Waters Flood Insurance Reform Act 
     of 2012, and for other purposes.

  Mr. REID. Mr. President, I ask for its second reading, but object to 
my own request.
  The PRESIDING OFFICER. Objection is heard.
  The bill will be read for the second time on the next legislative 
day.
