Messrs. LATHAM and CUELLAR changed their vote from ``nay'' to
``yea.''
So (two-thirds being in the affirmative) the rules were suspended and
the bill was passed.
The result of the vote was announced as above recorded.
A motion to reconsider was laid on the table.
Stated for:
Mr. LANGEVIN. Mr. Speaker, on rollcall vote No. 2, I was unavoidably
detained. Had I been present, I would have voted ``aye.''
Mr. WALBERG. Mr. Speaker, on rollcall No. 2, on Wednesday, January 8,
I was unavoidably detained and missed a rollcall vote. Had I been
present, I would have voted ``yea'' on rollcall 2, in support of a bill
I cosponsored, H.R. 724, to amend the Clean Air Act to remove the
requirement for dealer certification of new light-duty motor vehicles.
